I see therapy as a way of helping clients cultivate genuine compassion for themselves. My focus balances an exploration of the client’s past strengths and present goals.
I like to tell my clients, “ The best outcome of therapy would not be to change any part of self, but rather get to know yourself better.” I find it very rewarding to support clients in their journey to being a better version of themselves. I work collaboratively with clients to help understand themselves better to reduce unwanted symptoms and to prevent them from reoccurring.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married 25 years this year and have two amazing children. I also have a HUGE passion for animals. I have 6 pets myself and volunteer, as well as foster, animals of need in our community. My hobbies include traveling, music, fashion, and a good reality show.
I know it can be a difficult decision to take the next step to call a counselor, but I’ll make it easy. We’ll spend 15-minutes on the phone and I’ll let you know how or if I can help. If I am not the right person, I’ll do my best to get you to the right person.
